Brief Biography
Dr. Dietrich Tews, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, as well as a diabetologist (DDG and LÄKH), lipidologist (DGFL), and adiposis specialist (DAG-DDG). He is the founder and Medical Director of MVZ Diabeteszentrum Dr. Tews GmbH and has been working in outpatient diabetes care for many years.
In addition to his clinical work, he is active in numerous professional societies and associations. He is the chairman of the board of the Hessian Cooperative of Diabetologists eG and chairman of the Hessian Advisory Board of the Professional Association of Private-Practice Diabetologists (BVND). In addition, he is a member of the Digitalization Commission of the German Diabetes Society, a trainer in internal medicine and diabetology, and an examiner for the Hessian State Medical Association.
As a speaker, moderator, and instructor, Dr. Tews has been active at conferences, continuing education programs, and scientific events for over 20 years. His areas of expertise include modern diabetes medicine, the digitization of healthcare, and the use of artificial intelligence to improve patient care.
